The first DVD in a new series, "A Love Affair with Angling- Disc 1: Falling in Love" is a unique companion to Dr. Harold Lyon's popular book, Angling in the Smile of the Great Spirit. It is a distillation of some 27 hours of oral history and folklore of Winnipesaukee's master anglers and beautiful scenes captured on the Lake. It is edited to examine what is the love that motivates those anglers. Dr. Lyon is a graduate of West Point, served as a Ranger-paratrooper officer, Director of Education for the Gifted, project officer for "Sesame Street," assistant to the president of a university, faculties of Georgetown, Antioch, Dartmouth Medical School, Notre Dame College, Universities of Massachusetts and Munich. He received the Gold Medal in the 1990 International Film & TV Festival of New York. He's author of 5 other books and has been angling for over 67 years.
